Room, Cancellation & Tax Policies:
All Room Rates are in U.S.D. (United States Dollars). Tax is included in our room rates. Our hotel
requires a first nights deposit per room, to guarantee accommodations, except for Christmas time
(please read our Christmas Deposit and Refund Policy). Deposits must be received no later than five
days after the reservation request is made or your reservation request will be canceled. The refunding
of deposits will only be made when individual Room reservations are canceled at least thirty (30) days
prior to the scheduled arrival date. There shall be no refunds for early departure; you shall be liable for
the balance due for the entire reservation period. We do have a minimum stay of 3 nights during our
low and peak season; during Christmas Season we have a minimum stay of 4 nights. If you wish to stay
less than our posted minimums, there will be a $20.00 cleaning fee assessed.

Our hotels posted room rates on our website are for online reservations only; rates will be different for
last minute drive ups. Confirmed online reservations are for reservations made by placing a deposit at
least two weeks before your check in date. All other requests shall be at the drive up rate.

Our hotel is "Condo Style" there is an extra charge of $20.00 per day for daily maid service; otherwise
linens will be changed on the forth day of your stay. Please arrive at the hotel before dark, or call ahead
and let us know that you will require "late" check in.

As for your balance; which is due in cash upon check in, every hotel in the industry takes your credit
card upon check in, to ensure that they will receive their payment for your stay and to verify that the
card is valid and has enough credit available. We do not have credit card capability at our hotel in
Mexico as the phone lines and internet is intermittent at best, so there is no way to verify if a credit
card is valid or if it has enough credit. We have discovered that it is best for us to collect payment in
cash upon check in. Therefore, we feel we must protect ourselves by collecting payment in full up
front. You can either pay in cash at the hotel, or pay via Paypal before you take your vacation (please
ask for this service and wait for our invoice). Our wonderful manager will make every effort to ensure
that your stay at the hotel is everything you wish it to be. Our Manager will also give you directions to
other places of interest in the area and fun things to do. Before you check in, take a tour of your room
and the grounds. I am quite certain that you will be pleased. However if you decide not to stay with us,
your deposit is not refundable as we have held the room for you in good faith.

Christmas Deposit and Refund Policy:
We have hundreds of requests for rooms during the Christmas season. We do turn many people away.
In the past we collected only a one night deposit, and had people cancel just 30 days prior to their
scheduled arrival date. This isn't fair to people who really wanted to stay with us during Christmastime.
We will be taking a 50% deposit, of which 25% will be non-refundable. Our
regular refund policy does not apply for the Christmas Season. We will only consider refunding 25% of
your deposit if you cancel before November 15th.

Why we handle reservations over the internet:
We handle everything over the internet for three reasons.
Reason one: This is a small hotel and to keep operating costs low and our room rates as low as
possible, we do not incur long distance charges by calling people all over the country on a daily basis.
Reason two: My husband and I, along with his brother and sister-in-law own the hotel as partners. We
all have our regular jobs and cannot be available for people to call us all day about hotel reservations. I
take care of reservations after my regular job.
Reason three: We have a written record of the reservation and all of the questions asked along with all
of the responses given. If there are any disputes we are able to produce those written records. We
accept Paypal for our payments. Paypal accepts all types of credit cards. We never see your credit card
number. When you pay for something via credit card and you don't get the service you expected, you
have recourse through your credit card company. We have been in business for four years. We are
listed with Trip Advisor and have many positive reviews. I recommend that you follow this link to
TRIP ADVISOR and read all of our reviews. If you still don't feel comfortable making a reservation
with us, then you are more than welcome to reserve a room with any other accommodation. Please be
advised that most of our sister accommodations in this area do business exactly the same way that we
do.

Pet Policy: Our "No Pet" policy is in place to protect our guest's pets. There are "native" dogs at the
hotel. They have been at the hotel and surrounding areas their entire lives. They are very territorial
with other animals, yet extremely human friendly. When we bought the hotel, we began to feed a few
of the native dogs, when they came to know and trust us, we took them to the veterinarian. We cleared
up their fleas & ticks and tended to their other health needs, so that they did not remain a wild pack of
dogs. There are four that have chosen to make our hotel their home, but there are other individuals
that roam the area. This said we do have a NO PETS policy so that there are no traumatic incidents
for our guest's animals or for the native dogs.

Room Amenities:
Each San Pedrito Surf Hotel room has a full kitchenette and comes with bottled water (5 gallon jugs
with despensers), basic cooking utensils, spices, fire extinguishers, bath towels and bed linens. We do
have safes in our rooms for your convenience and security. It is your responsibility to use your safe,
lock your door(s) and window(s) and to secure any other valuable items or devices that you have
brought with you. Crime can and does happen anywhere in the world and it just makes sense to use the
provided safe for your valuables whenever you leave your room. We cannot be responsible for lost or
stolen items. There is a washer and dryer on the property, it is $5.00 per load for our staff to wash your
clothes.

San Pedrito Surf Hotel is a "Retreat" Hotel:
There are no outside influences unless you bring them with you, we strongly urge you to bring surge
protection with you for your own devices. We cannot be responsible for surges in electricity at our
hotel or any damage to your devices caused by a surge in electricity. We do not have telephones or
televisions in the Casitas, but we do have a T.V. in our palapa. Our rooms are air conditioned when
the summer gets hot for your comfort.

Vacation notes:
You will want to bring warm clothing for the evening. You will need to rent a car when you arrive at
the San Jose Del Cabo or La Paz airport as there is no transportation provided by our hotel from, or to
the airport and other locations of interest. You will want to buy groceries in either Cabo San Lucas or
La Paz on the way to our hotel, because restaurants and stores close early in the evening in El
Pescadero. There is a conveniently located Costco Warehouse
(http://www.costco.com/Warehouse/LocationTemplate.aspx?Warehouse=724&lang=en-US) in
Cabo San Lucas.

Please allow plenty of time to get to and from the airport. Our Hotel is approximately one hour and
twenty minutes from the San Jose Del Cabo airport. It is a two lane road that is under construction.
When finished it will be a four lane highway from San Jose Del Cabo to La Paz, going directly through
our town of El Pescadero, on to Todos Santos and then finally to La Paz.
