San Pedrito Surf Hotel is a clean, comfortable, peaceful, healing location. Many groups come here to take respite from the daily electronic chaos in their lives. Sure, you can bring your electronic devices with you, but isn't it nice to turn them off and reconnect with nature, with each other, with your children and your friends? The maximum occupancy of our hotel is 19 guests. If you need additional accommodations, there are many rooms for rent nearby. We can help you coordinate with the other properties. San Pedrito Surf Hotel is the perfect setting for a small family wedding. Say your vows on the beach at sunset and have your reception in the palapa and the surrounding gardens. We can help you find a wonderful wedding coordinator, florist, caterer and musicians. Or, if you are on a budget, there are kitchenettes in all of the rooms and an outdoor grill to have a wonderful feast prepared by your family. Nothing can be better than sharing your joy with your family and friends close by. Reveal the amazing gem of this pristine area of Mexico. It truly is magical. Our hotel is wonderful for Family Reunions. Bring everyone down to our little hotelito. Grandmom and Granddad can enjoy watching the grandkids play on the beach, then they will have the best view of the Pacific sunset than anywhere else. Our hotel faces directly west. If the sun is too hot, they can enjoy the shade of the fully enclosed palapa. Your children will get to know each other better; there are no electronic devices here unless you bring them with you. Let your children discover the joy of playing a board game, or playing a game of billiards with the entire family. Sit with each other as you watch the sun set into the ocean. You can talk about the birds, fish and other wildlife seen that day. When you bring your extended family, you will be able to make touching memories that will last a lifetime. If you make a group reservation during the months of October through December, you may be lucky enough to witness the hatching of the endangered leatherback turtles; better yet, you can join the group Tortugueros Las Playitas Their mission is to protect the endangered sea turtles, who nest on the shores near Todos Santos, with a special emphasis on Leatherbacks, whose nests do not incubate naturally here due to low sand temperatures. To help these endangered turtles the group builds an incubation invernadero every year to elevate the sand temperature. Then the Leatherback nests are moved inside where they incubate successfully. Volunteers in and around Todos Santos run nightly patrols relocating nests into the incubation area, monitor the hatchery, organize beach clean-ups, and educate school-aged children, fishermen and residents on environmental conservation, sea turtle restoration, and water safety in and around the Todos Santos area. If you would like to have your group volunteer, please click on the link to go to their website. If you are coming with a whale conservation group: In December the Whales migrate along our coastline here near Todos Santos. Every year between Mid October and the end of March, thousands of gray whales make their annual 5,000 mile migration from the waters off of Alaska's Bering Sea, to the temperate waters off of Baja California Sur, Mexico. This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved with the established conservation efforts that are ongoing in this area of Mexico. You can read more about whale conservation.
