Ok, you are headed west on Highway 1 going toward Cabo San Lucas. You can either make a right on El Borda or Liona Vicario streets, either of these will get you to Highway 19, which is the road to Cerritos, El Pescadero and Todos Santos. Just be on the lookout for signs to Todos Santos.

Going through Cabo San Lucas, you are going to want to watch your speed and obey all laws. If you do happen to get pulled over by a policeman, DO NOT HAND HIM YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE. If your window is not rolled up already, roll it up most of the way and place your license against the window so that the officer can see it, but has no access to it. Some of our guests have told us that the police have held their licenses hostage, only giving it back after a fee had been paid. Avoid this by following these instructions that our attorney in Mexico has given to us. As owners, we have been to the hotel many times and have never been pulled over, but we want to prepare you in case this happens to you.

While driving from San Jose del Cabo to Cabo San Lucas, you will enjoy the lovely views of the ocean. You will pass by the very posh, exclusive Palmilla, Los Cabos, Mexico Hotel. On your drive, look for "Lands end", where the Southern tip of Baja California Sur ends into the ocean. On your way to San Pedrito Surf Hotel you will notice all of the highway construction going on, to build a new four lane highway to our hotel. We will have much easier access to and from Cabo San Lucas.

Before you leave Cabo San Lucas, you may want to visit the local Costco warehouse.
Here you can buy groceries for your stay at our hotel. As with any other Costco in different regions, each one has items that are only produced locally. This store still has many of the items that you can find in the United States as well.

Continue on your way to Highway 19 after you have explored Cabo San Lucas or Costco. Prepare for a little road construction on the way to our hotel. Sit back, turn on some music and enjoy the drive. You are in Mexico.
