Ahhh… Relax… You have arrived in Baja California Sur, Mexico! Take a breath and put happy
thoughts in your mind. You will be spending your vacation ocean front at the San Pedrito Surf Hotel
which is an ocean retreat for your mind, body and spirit! Incredible Mexican sunsets and an ice cold
Corona! Nothing is finer!

When you arrive at the San Jose del Cabo Airport in Mexico, you will pass through customs. Be sure to
bring a pen with you to fill out the forms that the airline provides to you on your flight.

RENTAL CAR: If you have made an online reservation with a rental car company, there should be a
kiosk inside of the airport terminal. Check in with them and follow their instructions perfectly. There
will be many other rental car vendors barking for your business as you leave the terminal. Just say, "No
thank you" and continue on as instructed by the rental car agent at the inside kiosk. Usually there is a
bus that will drive you to your rental car company. We recommend buying full coverage when you rent
a car. The rules are different in Mexico and it's better to be safe than sorry. Full coverage means that
they can't charge you for things that are not your fault, or that you overlooked when you were
inspecting the car for damage. For example, the last car that we rented was missing the sun visor on
the driver's side. We did not notice that it was missing until we were driving back to the hotel from La
Paz, Mexico several days after we rented the car. We laughed about it, because we had bought full
coverage, but had we not; we would have been stressed wondering how much they would charge us
upon our return.

DIRECTIONS: There are only two ways to go. You can take the toll road which is faster and costs
approximately $4 or $5 dollars, or you can take Highway 1 through Cabo San Lucas. Either way, it's
pretty easy. Just take care as Mexicans drive offensively and we tend to drive defensively. You will stay
on Highway 1 until you get to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
